At an early age, LaMont Kraft moved with his family from Galena Illinois to northern Wisconsin. He savored every free moment among the trout streams, lakes and forests of the area. He couples this love of the outdoors with a love of history and finds photography an excellent expression of these interests. His collections revolve mostly around the natural world but he also enjoys photographing old mills, lighthouses, barns, tall ships, bridges, and other culturally or historically unique subjects.
LaMont spends little time at the computer. He would rather be out taking photographs. None of his images are digitally enhanced. He works hard to capture the desired image using different lenses. His fun is to get out and take photos, lots of photos. LaMont and his wife, Sandy, enjoy traveling together at every opportunity resulting in a great variety of photographs with the addition of new images regularly. Be sure to check all of the galleries as you never can tell what will be included. Since he doesn't spend hours manipulating images, he feels comfortable sharing his work at an affordable price.
At Art and Craft Shows, people like you share their insights about particular photographs and their travels, which inspire LaMont with new ideas. Request his current show schedule by email and be on the lookout for Nature's Edge Photography!
